Penerapan Model Praktikum Cookbook dan Inquiry Lab dalam Kegiatan Pembelajaran Fisika Abad 21

Abstract

Practical activities are considered important because they can help improve students' understanding of the context of abstract material. The practicum model used needs to be adapted to material needs, so the aim of this article is to prove and strengthen the statement about the importance of choosing a practicum model that supports 21st century physics learning activities. The practicum models discussed are conventional practicum or also known as cookbooks and lab investigation practicum. The method used is the literature method, by searching, evaluating and summarizing the results of expert research. The results of this research show that from the two practicum models discussed, it appears that the lab inquiry model is more effective for use in practicum activities, because it can train
students' critical thinking and increase students' creativity. The
cookbook practicum model makes students lazy to think, but this
model is not to be abandoned, but needs to be provided with a
solution by encouraging active student involvement, encouraging
more systematic and measurable thinking.
