About the Journal

A. A LOOK at IJET

IJET (Indonesian Journal of English Teaching) is an educational journal for global English language teachers, lecturers, university professors, and others who work with school-aged or university students, teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL), English as a Second Language (ESL), English for Specific Purposes (ESP), or English for Academic Purposes (EAP). The journal offers an esteemed global platform for scholarly research encompassing English Language Teaching (ELT) practice,

This journal is indexed and abstracted by several platforms, including Google Scholar, Garuda, DOAJ, Moraref, Indonesia One Search (IOS), and BASE (Bielefeld Academic Search Engine). It has received accreditation from the National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA), overseen by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia. Since May 2019, it has been classified in the Fourth Grade of Sinta (Sinta 4), as per decree No. B/1410/E5/E5.2.1/2019 was reaccredited under decree No. 79/E/KPT/2023.

B. IJET FOCUS & SCOPE

IJET (Indonesian Journal of English Teaching) seeks richly described interpretive accounts:

  1. English Education and Teaching in schools, madrasahs, and higher education
  2. Problems faced by Teachers and Lecturers in Teaching English language subjects in schools, madrasahs, universities, or pesantren (Islamic Boarding Houses)
  3. Innovations in Teaching English language subjects in schools, universities, or pesantren
  4. Thoughts on English Education (research, conceptual ideas, library research, or practical experiences)

The manuscript's language must be in English and written based on the Author's Guidelines.
